Disruption at DUP office an attack on entire Enniskillen community
Published: 4 December, 2015
Sinn Féin MLA Phil Flanagan has said that the people who disrupted the town centre of Enniskillen have done nothing but attack the community going about Christmas shopping.
Mr Flanagan said,
"The threat of a bomb in the offices DUP MLA Arlene Foster is not only an attack on democracy but also against the entire community of Enniskillen.
"Everyone has a right to free speech and to express their politics free from threat or harassment and I hope that this incident doesn't turn out to be more serious than it is.
"The Christmas period is the most important time of the year for small local businesses and this disruption has put these traders under pressure.
"Enniskillen is competing against other local towns and cities for Christmas trade and these threats do nothing in attracting people into the town.
"This attack on the office of Arlene Foster has done nothing but disrupt the entire community and those involved should get off the backs of all the people."
